Wedding Reception

The wedding Reception or Pahargyan of GKR Hayu and KPH Notonegoro was held in Bangsal Kepatihan on Wednesday (11/23) at 10.30am. The purple atmoshphere could be seen dominating the venue. This peak ceremony of the series of the Kraton wedding event was preceded with the Kirab, or the Procession, starting from the Palace and heading forth to Bangsal Kepatihan.

On Wednesday (10/23), the convoy of the newlyweds’ horse carriages, followed by the Bregada or the group of marching royal troops, departed from Keben (the West wing of the Palace) and heading forth to Kepatihan or the Office of the Special Region of Yogyakarta’s Governor to perform the Kirab or the Procession.
